Who we are

JDW.SOCIAL LIMITED ("JDW.Social", "we", "us") is a paid media company for the music industry, registered in England and Wales under company number 16969557. Our registered office is 6 Morecambe Avenue, Caversham Heights, Reading RG4 7NL, United Kingdom. For anything relating to this policy or your personal data, contact clients@jdw.social.

For the purposes of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), JDW.SOCIAL LIMITED is the controller of the personal data described in this policy, except where we act on behalf of a client as described under "Client services" below.

This website

This site does not set cookies and does not run analytics or advertising trackers. We do not collect personal data through the site itself. Our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) may process technical data such as IP addresses in server logs for the purpose of serving and securing the site; that processing is standard to web hosting and is governed by their own policies.

If you contact us

If you email us, we hold your name, email address and the content of your correspondence. We use it to respond to you and to manage our business relationship, on the lawful basis of legitimate interests, or the performance of a contract where we work together. We keep correspondence for as long as it is relevant to the relationship and to our legal and accounting obligations, then delete it.

Client services

When we run advertising campaigns for clients, we work inside advertising platforms (such as Meta, TikTok and Google) and related measurement tools. Audience and conversion data in those platforms is processed under the client's own accounts and the platforms' terms. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use one client's data for another client's benefit.

Sharing

We share personal data only with service providers who support our business (such as email, document storage and accounting providers), under their standard data processing terms, or where the law requires it. Some providers process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers rely on adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for access to your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email clients@jdw.social. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

We will update this policy when our practices change and revise the date at the top of the page.
